Charles Jones to perform organ dedication

The Union Baptist Church of Mystic, Connecticut, has recently installed a Wicks Royal Classic III digital organ in the front of their sanctuary. The organ is the latest addition to the 350 year old edifice. Union Baptist, which overlooks historic Mystic Seaport, chose the Wicks Royal Classic to replace their aging pipe organ due to the cost to rebuild the pipe organ.

The Wicks Royal Classic III was chosen for its tone quality and its versatility. The organ has been an integral part of the very active music and worship programs at Union Baptist. The church family is looking forward to many years of exciting and dependable service.

The organ dedication will be held on September 12, 2010 at 4:00 pm. The dedication will be performed by Mr. Charles Jones, Music Director for St. Pius X, Loudonville, NY.
