Wicks Royal Classic

The Royal Classic instruments take a step beyond the traditional idea of a digital organ. These instruments were developed as a compliment to Wicks pipe and combination organs, and came from a pipe builder's background. This line was developed to help us ensure that every church that wants an organ should be given the opportunity to afford one. Built in Italy, these instruments have been tailored to meet Wicks exacting standards of quality and designed, and configured and matched to American organists' tastes.

Now you can have a fully-functional two or three-manual organ of thoughtful design and quality construction. We selected the very best of our American Classic pipes for the 61 individual samples used for the stops, and we’ve found an affordable method of bringing those sounds to you. Just like a pipe organ, one instrument doesn’t fit in every room. A 1500-seat church has different requirements than your home music room. When you purchase a Royal Classic organ, we’ll make sure the audio system is designed specifically for the organ’s space. When the organ is delivered, we won’t just leave you with it, the instrument will be perfectly regulated for the room it will inhabit. Every note of every stop can be adjusted for timbre and regulated to meet your needs. The instrument will be musically balanced by a person trained in pipe organ voicing and design.

Like all Wicks organs, the Royal Classic has unmatched versatility. It can serve as a standalone digital organ or actual pipe ranks can be added to create a combination pipe and digital instrument. The possibilities are nearly endless.

Royal Classic II         Royal Classic III         CM-100 Pipe Organ Sound Module

We have developed a line of Royal Classics blending real Wicks pipes in a 2 and 3 manual configuration, named the Royal Classic Legacy. The pipes form the Great Principal chorus, providing the basic sound of the pipe organ and offering the best possible accompaniment to a singing congregation. The remaining digital voices are traditional organ sounds; together these provide the complete resources of a large organ.
